Easter Basket Give-a-Way

On March 28, 2026, the San Antonio Northwest Civic and Social Club (SANCSC) teamed up with Lean on God Ministries to hand out 40 Easter Baskets to children (ages 10 and under) housed at Haven for Hope and SAMMinistries.

The Easter Basket Give-a-Way has been carried out by Lean on God Ministries in recent years. This year, SANCSC funded stuff animals and pre-filled key chains for the baskets which were designed and build by Lean on Me Ministries.  

This was a great opportunity to team together and help lift the spirits of kids and parents in our community during Holy Week, and during a time of transition for their families.  

The families were very appreciative, and having the Easter Bunny present to hand out the baskets and take photos with the kids was a big hit. The smilies on the kids' faces was a great reward for us.

It's a blessing to be a blessing.
