Summertime Fish Fry Fundraiser (2026)

SANCSC hosted its Summertime Fish Fry Fundraiser, continuing the legacy of Chief Master Sergeant Ben "BD" Dunn, U.S. Air Force (Retired).

When: July 18, 2026 / Time: 12:00 pm – 5:00 pm

Where: A’s Up Sports Lounge, 5520 West Military Drive, San Antonio, TX 78242

Menu: Catfish, Potato Salad, Green Beans, and Bread

Donation: $15.00

The proceeds from this fundraiser went back into the community, enabling SANCSC to provide support to underprivileged individuals and families, with special focus on the elderly and aspiring youth through outreach, providing essential personal supplies, routine nursing home visits, mentorship, school supplies, and scholarships to empower the next generation.

About Ben "BD" Dunn

Chief Master Sergeant Ben “BD” Dunn, United States Air Force (Retired) is a former President of SANCSC. He was a strong advocate for supporting the underprivileged members of our community. BD also led SANCSC’s award winning Fish Fry’s that were recognized at the 2017 and 2018 “A Taste of New Orleans” during Fiesta San Antonio, receiving first place awards for “Best of the Best” and People’s Choice award for best food, as well as garnering the best non-commercial food award for 2016 through 2018.

Our fish fry fundraisers and our support to the underprivileged members of our community keeps BD's legacy alive.
