MLK Banquet - 2026

The 29th Annual Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Commemoration Banquet was co-hosted by SANCSC and the District 23 PHA Masons of Texas, at the Plaza Hotel in downtown San Antonio, on January 17th.

For the first time, SANCSC did NOT host this annual event on a military installation. However, a great time was had by all.  

The event welcomed approximately 200 attendees that represented a broad spectrum of businesses and community organizations; which included 21 vendors that showcased their services and goods for guests.

It was a great time to get dressed up, socialize with good people, and do a little shopping, while honoring the legacy of Dr. King.

The evening included entertainment by the AMAZING Aylia Tillman, and DJ 151.

Guests were also privileged to hear an esteemed keynote speaker, Pastor Derrick Benn, of Greater Bethel Baptist Church, San Marcos, Texas. 

A carefully curated plated dinner provided an excellent setting for networking and engagement among individuals dedicated to advancing Dr. King’s vision.
